About Anna

As an honours graduate of The Royal Academy of Music Anna Croad
enjoys a varied freelance career which encompasses playing in many
major London orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the
London Philharmonic Orchestra, Trafalgar Sinfonia and the Britten
Sinfonia. She has also worked extensively as a chamber musician in
quartets, trios, as a duo with Alex Barnes, and has given solo concerto
performances at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church by Trafalgar Square.
Anna founded her contemporary trio ‘blue topaz’ for which she also
writes arrangements and the trio has performed for well known figures
including Her Majesty the Queen, Mayor Boris Johnson and Jamie Oliver
at venues including Wembley Stadium, Ronnie Scotts, Kensington Palace
and The National Theatre.
Anna has been privileged to perform, tour and record with artists
including Luciano Pavarotti, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa,
Yo-Yo Ma, Adele, Simply Red, Emeli Sande and Lana del Rey. She has also
appeared on TV shows including ‘Later with Jools Holland’, The Graham
Norton Show, This Morning, Loose Women and The Pride of Britain
